Better together! In the past few years co-operation originated with several foundations. On this page you will find a survey of these organisations together with a link to their websites

Friends Indeed Foundation

Friends Indeed aims for education of children mainly in India. Friends Indeed pointed out the possibilities for a project in Kakinada in 2002. Their experience and support was of great value during the preparation of Indiaproject2003 as well as during the project itself.

Orion Foundation

In June 2005 Movendi came into contact with the Orion foundation. Orion supports medical projects, mainly in Ghana, which focus on patients with orthopeadic problems (e.g. due to polio). These projects enable a lot of patients to start functioning 'normally' in their society again. The Orion foundation invited us to come with them on a field trip in Ghana to investigate whether projects sponsored by Orion were also suitable for initiatives like Indiaproject 2003.

Blackboard Foundation

Ever since there was the idea of getting officially registered as foundation, the Blackboard Foundation helped us with a lot of useful tips and their experience as a foundation. The goal of the Blackboard Foundation is to stimulate education for children, girls in particular, in Pakistan.

Hand in Hand

Hand in Hand has offered a shelter to handicapped and abandoned children in the Ghanaian town Nkoranza. In 2007 the project houses over forty children and young adults permanently and provides work for another twenty youngsters from town and surrounding villages. Through a special program of work, education and recreation the community strives for indepency of the young adults.

Leprosy Scholarship Foundation

The Leprosy Scholarship Foundation offers financial educational support for children from families affected by leprosy in Vietnam. The scholarship pays their annual schooling fee, providing the children with the chance to attend school and to have a better future!

Students 4 Sustainability

Students 4 Sustainability foundation is an organisation of students at the Technical University of Delft. It is an organisation that wants to show that sustainability works! Students 4 Sustainability supports Movendi in their aim for sustainability.
