Movendi foundation Movendi foundation thrives to improve the quality of life for physically handicapped people anywhere in the world. The foundation’s primary focus is on developing countries and communities with a great need for expertise in the field of movement technology and physiotherapy.

This goal is pursued through starting up and accompany projects. Solutions, for the various problems disabled people are facing in developing countries, should be found in local population and resources.

Movendi foundation is currently setting up rehabilitation workshops and trains local therapists and technicians, so a durable and independent continuation for the local population is provided. Furthermore, we encourage students and volunteers to work for disabled people in developing countries. The roadmap of Indiaproject 2003 is used as a guide. IndiaMoves wins Vewin-award at Duurzame Dinsdag for most exceptional water initiative
... "Vewin director Theo Schmitz speaks of a project with 'double sustainability." First of all disabled people are helped from a social isolation. In addition, the project promotes the realization of the Millennium Development Goals, where a large proportion of the world must be provided with clean drinking water ".

GhanaMoves wins Toon van Tuijl Design!
The Toon van Tuijl Design Award, a newly established award this year during the Dutch Design Awards, is specifically focused on products that have an impact on the socio-economic living conditions of people in developing countries. Saturday, October 20, Stephanie Reintjens and Rutger Bonsel, two of the students of the GhanaMoves team in Eindhoven received the award .
